Elbowbumpkid Inc is a grassroots, community run, community funded nonprofit. We are fueled by our volunteer board and committee members who are passionate about making a difference in our local T1D community. Your donations fund our ongoing programs including scholarships, caregiver events, community events for children, diaversary cards, college kits and other targeted programs for families impacted by Type 1 Diabetes.

Elbowbumpkid (Saige) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 17 months old. The Merwin family has been fundraising and raising awareness about T1D for many years, raising over $150,000 for nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of families with Type 1 Diabetes.

In 2019, Elbowbumpkid, Inc became a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible.
